Best of 2017: The year of wonderful experiences
2017 will be the year to beat. From the depths of the Sulu sea in the Philippines to snowboarding in Austria or motorcycling across Europe, these are the best moments of our amazing year.
We learned to dive, went snowboarding and wakeboarding, passed the super strict Swiss motorcycle licence test, made sure Milda’s brother gets married, did the first trackday, went hiking, travelled on motorcycles to Barcelona for MotoGP and more.

Greetings from India 🇮🇳❤ Amazing content dude 🙏
Hello from Cali Fornia! what year is the mt07, how was the ride with it in terms of comfort?
Hey! Tanks for the comment. The MT07 was a 2016 model. It was my friend's, I was with the Tuono. But as far as I can tell, he probably had the most comfortable ride :) The only downside are the forks - you can't adjust them and they are too soft, so they tend to dive when you let go the throttle or brake. Other than that, a very solid bike and he had no issues with it
Nice video
Wow! What a great trip, and a fantastic recording! 👍
❤️

nice video👍👍👍
Thanks!
great video! Love the bike and the good quality :) unfortunately I had to sell my Aprilia Tuono Factory :( One day, I will have one again. Or an RSV. We'll see ;)
I want to go there its a nice place to have a honey moon 😂😂
Which navigation app do you use? Does it work without internet?
I use Sygic. You can use it offline and you can also add waypoints, which is ideal for planning bike trips. It’s not a free navigation app, but it’s worth the cost :)
You started the trip from...??France?
Hi. Great trip. Would you share the GPS plan?
Helder Lima, I don’t have a gps plan, but I still have the routes saves in Sygic (the gps navigation app that I use). I could of course provide these :) how should I send this to you?
MrSeskinas you can use this site uploadfiles.io/
Im so jealous awesome video!!!!!!! I'm half austria so i don't belong in the ugly Netherlands :(
I keep coming back to your videos for inspiration for the one I'm making. They are just too good. If you don't mind me asking, what do you and your wife do for a living? 100% curiosity.
Thanks for the positive feedback! Regarding what we do for a living - I work as a project manager in finance and Milda is a marketing manager at a well known lingerie company. Our combined salaries allow us to travel a bit and also have some fun with our hobbies, but essentially it has a lot to do with being cautious in terms of where we spend our money and trying to save money where possible :)
There are many islands in the Philippines with white sand beaches and crystal clear water, but they are far apart from each other and very costly to reach. Unlike in El Nido and Coron Palawan where they are easily accessible by Island hopping
have you heard of Modessa, Tubathaha, Taytay and Araceli ? Those are also a very nice places and very few tourist. Try also exploring the southern part of Palawan.
Have not been there yet, but we hope to go back to the Philippines sometime later again :)
So the 1100 has the larger fuel tank, 18.5 liters. Do you get to 200km range or is it too much to ask? I am looking for a proper upgrade over my Falco which has served me well. :)
I get 200-220, but try not to stretch it further as I was already stranded twice without fuel :)) Generally, fuel consumption drops after the initial 1-2k km. It consumes most fuel when going slow, in traffic, cities, etc. Currently, I would say my average is 7-8l/100 km
Ok that's not too bad then. 200km range is very much doable on long trips. Ever thought of getting the Race ECU or a Powercommander to get it tuned?
I did, but then you need to run an exhaust without a catalytic converter. Otherwise, you will run rich and ruin the motor. Unfortunately, it’s not allowed to not have a catalytic converter in Switzerland and the fines are massive. The police also have the tools and knowledge to inspect the bikes. If you can, I would definitely recommend running a race map, as then the fueling is way more suitable for city driving. The bike becomes smoother at low rpms
Hmmm, to my understanding the Tuono already runs very rich and that's why it is using so much fuel. Tuning it would make the mixture more lean and the motor run hotter. I guess that's what the Race ECU does. Lucky we in the Netherlands do not have a MOT / TüV on Motorcycles so we can basically do what we want with them.
If you don't have an issue with the exhaust, then of course, that's the way to go. Aftermarket exhaust without a catalytic converter + race ecu. Try finding a guy called Gabro on The Aprilia Forum (on facebook). He's one of the best tuners out there
I was thinking about getting a whippet but everything I’m reading says they’re hard to control off leash due to their high prey drive. What’s your take on this? Awesome video!
Thanks for the comment :) Well, we walk ours without a leash pretty much everywhere, we go jogging in our town this way as well. My parents had beagles and those are indeed uncontrollable, whereas a whippet always follows you wherever you go. It is true that this dog will chase anything that moves, unless you see that cat / fox / squirrel / or whatever first and tell the dog not to. However, not all whippets are like this. We've met many that have no interest in wildlife. But then again, it does not go hunting on it's own. It's only when a cat pops up in front of it, but that's true for most dogs I believe.

One question, do I really need an ECE approved helmet for Spain? I have DOT and SNELL
No one is going to check your helmet. In the end, it’s for your own safety, right? :)
Yeah, I also thought that the odds of getting that checked would be astronomical. DOT is pretty much the same thing as ECE, just American (I'm in South America) and SNELL is just an extra certification that does the tests a little differently. My helmet is safe, but the laws that take one or the other are .... stupid to say the least. Thanks for the reply.
MrSeskinas Did a 13 day trip through Spain... people that don't ride really don't know what they're missing
HOW MANY RIDERS?!
JustThaor, three :) Tuono V4 Factory, MT-07 and CBF500 :)
Just saw the description. That drone footage with the string of bikers was amazing. Good job man, really cool adventure.
Beautiful, thanks for sharing!
Just love the hype!!!
Being to all those places with my car, had good and bad weathers. Really looking for one day to do this with a bike!
Wow nice! Congrats on the video editing ... really cool trip. I did it the other way round ... :P From Barcelona to Switzerland.
Damn mate this video is fucki*g awesome!!! 😱 Great job!! 👊🏼
Thanks! Told you it was better! ;)
Awesome stuff buddy!! ✌🏼
Thanks! But to be honest, my other video from last year #Trip2Catalunya is way better :)
MrSeskinas i will watch the other video after work 🙂 thx for the answer!
nice edit! great trip
Thanks!
Did you do s specific tour? and which site did you use for bookings for that? Cause im going there but wanting to know if island hopping of 14k pessos was overpriced for a 4 days 3 nights stay...
marianne grace, no, we organized everything by ourselves pretty much. For hotels, we used agoda.com. For island hopping, we once rented the whole boat in Coron and basically went wherever we wanted to. In El Nido, we booked a 1 day tour. Honestly, I would recommend renting the whole boat, because otherwise you end up going together with the masses because all boats follow a similar route at a similar time
So many amazing experiences! Great footage capturing all of it. Just found you on another travel channel! Excited to see more videos
enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing.
the dog must be happy
This dog lives a happy life :) She also travels with us whenever possible. Also, we love the fact that in Switzerland both the rules are the public perception are very favorable to dogs. For example, in our town we can pretty much walk the dog without a leash, we can use a public beach, there are dog bins with plastic bags everywhere and etc.
What a great tour you had loved the different camera angles and shots kept me interested the whole time! Big thumbs up!
What an incredible way to travel around and really experience the elements and the wind in your hair.
